I’m Winnie, founder of Rowan & Muse, a boutique interior design firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. Interior design and fashion have always been loves of mine. I’m drawn to the way colors, textures, and thoughtful details come together to express something personal. After selling my business, I decided to turn that lifelong love into Rowan & Muse.

A home holds so much of your life. It’s where your everyday routines unfold, where you gather with the people you love, and where you should feel most yourself. Designing that space is deeply personal, and I believe doing it well requires time, trust, and a real understanding of how you live.

That’s why Rowan & Muse is intentionally small. I want the space to get to know our clients, think through the details, and give each home the attention it deserves.

We take on only one full-service interior design project at a time. This means guiding a project from the initial vision and space planning through material selections, furnishings, and final installation, bringing every detail together into a cohesive home.

We also welcome a few virtual design clients each month, offering a personalized design plan and clear direction for clients who want to bring their spaces to life with our guidance.

And we’re building more ways to help people create homes they love. Our hourly design consultations and Home Clarity Planner offer guidance for those who need help making decisions or figuring out where to begin, with more resources and offerings coming soon.

Keeping our firm small is a deliberate choice. It allows us to go deeper, listen closely, and create homes that feel unmistakably like the people who live in them.
